Murasaki Haruan

Murasaki is one of the world-leading practitioners of Yukimura-style Shibari. 

Today she is one of only 2 official instructors authorised by Yukimura Sensei actively teaching this style with this honorific.  She was the 10th person to ever be licensed as an instructor in Yukimura-ryu and both the first woman and the first Japanese to be certified by Yukimura Haruki in his unique style of Japanese bondage.  He bestowed upon her the Yukimura-ryu name of Haruan (春晏). 

Murasaki Haruan also practiced as a Dominatrix for nearly 20 years.

Murasaki is also the Sensei of Valentina Dellagravis, one of the founders of Aetas Deae.  As a result, her philosophy of rope, bondage, sensation, power exchange and the dynamics of play have informed our entire programme.

She has taught internationally in both Europe and North America at prestigious studios such as Vox (San Francisco), Karada House (Berlin) and Yugen Studios (Milan).
